The original stone retaining wall at this Forest Park property was in poor condition. Over time, erosion and outdated construction methods caused the stones to collapse and the wall to lose its structure. The failing wall created unsafe conditions and allowed the surrounding soil to shift, threatening nearby buildings and walkways.
